Nichole Mastroviti was born in Budd Lake, New Jersey in 1995. She is a photographer who draws influence from photographers such as Alfred Stieglitz, William Eggleston, and Ryan McGinley. Nichole works primarily in 35mm color film exploring themes of documenting youth culture. She is currently exploring her hand in wet plate photography. She also works in other formats such as 120, and large format. She shoots digitally as well and enjoys photographing with studio lighting when she has the opportunity. She received her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from Maine College of Art in the Spring of 2018. And has worked in a commercial studio setting, as well as worked as an intern in New York City for photographer, David Paul Larson. In the coming year, Nichole will work toward a photography career as well as continuing her practice before she applies to grad school.
